Sparrow Oast Dressage Kent

Indoor Arena and Stable Complex

Equine construction have built a 20 m x 40m indoor arena complete with a viewing gallery, lecture room and 4 stables incorporated for Sparrow Oast Dressage Training & Livery Centre.

The building is clad in Castle boarding and incorporates an extra bay in which we constructed 4 stables and a viewing gallery/lecture room.

Within the arena we constructed a concrete plinth and used grey PVC sloping kick boards. Clear PVC sheets were used in the roof, beneath the eaves and in the gable end to maximise natural light.

Some kind words from the owner…

“Dear David

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you, Sarah and the whole team at Equine Construction for making our dreams at Sparrow Oast come true.

Building a brand-new indoor arena and car park immediately adjacent to our outdoor arena and yard full of horses can only mean one thing – spooky horses and training disrupted for months, well at least that’s what I thought!!

During the whole build process, we only had one day when we could not train, every one of your team was sympathetic to the horses and clients! You took the stress totally away from me and enabled me to continue my work, and there I was considering project managing it at one time!! Not a chance!!!

The finished product is stunning, the quality of the build speaks volumes. The arena is light, airy and peaceful. The clients have mentioned that it even has a lovely calm aura. We could not have wished for more. I will be extremely happy to recommend Equine Construction to anyone considering building an arena or stable yard.
